tldr: you lose nothing if you exclusively run emummc so long as you arent stupid and run cfw on sysmmc

Nothing much really. Usually you make a separate NAND that you can play online games on. Switch hacking is very retard proof

Not gonna lie you're better off just emulating when it comes to switch 1. The games you'll want to play most likely work, with better performance and still having the mods and shit. Booting into CFW on switch 1 is sluggish and the console has slow loads times in general. I have a modchipped switch oled which is more convinient and even that I feel is a worse experience than where emulation has gotten to
