1) I heard the hacking scene was done is it true anon-dono?2) What do I loose if I update?
pretty muchnothing
>>736481334Aren't the guys who hacked the model 1 Switch still in jail? I have a Mariko model and it can't be hacked at all. I even tried and lost some files last year lol
>>736481334>looselose*
>>736481782Modchip
Nope, it got updated for the newest firmware since like yesterda. However tinfoil and the freeshops are fucked, gotta hunt down roms on your own
1. idk, haven't kept up with the switch hacking scene in a while 2. once you jailbreak the switch, you have two switch "states" you can easily change back and forth from>sysmmclegitimate system where you can safely go online, buy games, visit the eshop, update to the latest firmware>emummccfw stored on the microsd card. play pirated games, use custom homebrew, emulate whatever retro game you want, can run on different firmware update version apart from sysmmc. tldr: you lose nothing if you exclusively run emummc so long as you arent stupid and run cfw on sysmmc
>>736481334>1) I heard the hacking scene was done is it true anon-dono?I don't know what that means>2) What do I loose if I update?Nothing much really. Usually you make a separate NAND that you can play online games on. Switch hacking is very retard proof
Not gonna lie you're better off just emulating when it comes to switch 1. The games you'll want to play most likely work, with better performance and still having the mods and shit. Booting into CFW on switch 1 is sluggish and the console has slow loads times in general. I have a modchipped switch oled which is more convinient and even that I feel is a worse experience than where emulation has gotten to
>>736481334>anon-donodon't be cringe
>>736482536op just considers you beneath him :^)
>>736481953What about stand alone emulators like mgba? I also use retroarch.
>>736482314My 1070 can't run switch emulation.
>>736482765Yes it can, my 1660 can and the 1070 is a slightly stronger card.
>>736482765emulation is CPU dependent
