We need more violent and gory video games! Why aren't there more violent and gory video games like these?
There are more popular games even gorier than that, they're just not as pretentious and trying to make an edgy postmodern statement like your examples. The Outlast Trials, Cyberpunk 2077 and Blasphemous all have dismemberment and worse but they're good games outside of that.
>>736482156>DOOD WHAT IF LIKE THE BODIES EXPLODED WHEN YOU SHOOT THEM LIKE IN RICK AND MORTY AND IT WAS A CRONENBERG MONSTER! :O
>>736482156shit bait
using a shotgun in rdr2 is a real good time
>>736481740I hope Hellraiser: Revival will be able to scratch that itch. it looks exactly like condemned.
Violent vidya aren't rare, tho? It's actually hard to find a shooter with sensible amount of gore - you either get it by the buckets or none at all.
>>736481740I've only played condemned and it's fucking boring as shit. The gameplay is terrible and the dame shit from start to finish.
>>736482419>>736483463I don't know about you but I don't find things like gun violence to be really shocking or gross, it's in literally every shooter these days and it's not a core part of the game or story, but rather just an addition to it. The violence and the idea of it must be a large part of a games lore and story for it to be shocking or interesting to me. In manhunt for example, brutality and violence was a big part the story, same thing with butcher's creek. Outlast trials have some really brutal shit too, but it's so over the top that it feels more like set pieces that are there solely for visual shock. Less is more kind of thing
>>736481740I agree OP. Try these:>Postal 1>Twisted Metal Black>Stay Out of the House>Harvester>Sniper Killer
