Didn't realize for years that Jenny was played by the sister from Six Feet Under Youve got Valchek from The Wire in there And the Gas Man from Dumb And Dumber plays Butcher so much of the voice acting just sounds authentic

I like both but the first game is just oozing with soul, I'm surprised no one in the indie cloning classic games scene has taken inspiration from this game.

>>736492190The second game embraces the capeshit origins rather than trying to tell a self contained story with a specific tone like the first one. It's sillier, dumber, has a lame Batman villain, ends on a cliffhanger intended to tie it into another comic book adaptation (Witchblade) just like a Marvel movie. It also looks cheaper, guns aren't as satisfying, lighting and environmental effects are practically gone, and most offensively, everyone's voice is different. They only managed to get Mike Patton back and that's really the singular reason to play it once and never touch it again.
