Simply not true. They've always been the ultimate ball n gun company. They used to have good simulators but now even that is gone: Sims 4 sucks, SimCity is dead and we never got a true Spore sequel. If you genuinely like most of their games you just have bad taste in gaming and are more likely to find like-minded people on Instagram or in a black neighbourhood in the USA.

Well they've been around for quite some time.
Also even early on, almost every studio/IP they bought would see a massive quality drop afterwards.
