Childhood is thinking Ezio is the best protag.

Teenhood is realizing that Ezio is actually kinda generic and mid.

Adulthood is realizing that EVERY AC protag is underdeveloped in some way, making Ezio the best by default due to having the most screentime.

Maturity is when you realise how dogshit of a series asscreed is and should've ended with 3

I've never replayed Ezio's games so I still think he is the best protag. Seeing him dying in some official cartoon was sad.

AC3 suffers heavily from colonial US cities simply not being anywhere near as interesting to explore and move around as cities with actual history and monuments

I would say as an adult that Altair is the most relatable character by far even just looking at AC1 and ignoring revelations.

Fucking Origins has more interesting buildings in the middle of the desert.

Killing white people as Connor was the best part of Assassin's Creed 3.

Origins has arguably the best world design in the series, and it nailed Roman Egypt in the way no other popular media has managed to. That said, I have a massive weakness for the AC1 cities. Stealthing through Acre or Jerusalem felt magical in 2008.
