I'm too dumb to set up the white cross consistently

I always get stuck at the last 2

>there are people in this board who can't even do a sub 30 seconds solve
Pathetic.

Every RPG ever made.

7-8 years old can do that intuitively

last 2 what

The last 2 corners.

I've made about 500 dollars from this fucking thing
I learned how to do the basic solution and the tricks with your fingers to flick rotate the faces fast when i was young but never bothered with the advanced memorization stuff that lets you solve it sub-10 seconds.
And occasionally it pops up in my life from some friend, coworker or relative owning one and it ends with some random bet for like 20 or 50 dollars that I can't solve it because I just look like the clueless/cocky retard who wouldn't know.
>>
>>736494479
There's no way an average person solves this intuitively. I had to look up the algorithms.
>>
>>736498145
You can easily solve the first two layers intuitively, but for the last layer, every move you make will need long sequences of other moves to fix what you have to break to move each remainig piece. It has an exponential difficulty curve for intuitive solves, I'd say 90% of the difficulty is figuring out the last layer.
Once you memorize a couple of brepaked sequences though it becomes the easiest part.

Realizing that the middle tiles are fixed was a game changer. I figured it out pretty quickly after that.
It seems like an observation that should have been obvious in hindsight though.

what's your PB? I'm at 18 seconds

You guys didn't actually solve it. You, at best, solved 2 faces and looked at a guide only to realize you're doing everything wrong and memorized a sequence of movements to get it the right way. You did the equivalent of inputting a cheat code on the title screen to activate permanent invincibility. You did not beat the game.
>>
>>736505146
Bitch I didn't cheat shit. I am John Algorithm, I invented all the algorithms.

Weird, I'm still looking at the puzzle in front of me and all the sides are one color though

Why do RPGs do this. If i want to play a puzzle game i play a puzzle game.
>>
>>736505757
It's because you're colorblind and/or retarded.
Each of the 6 sides has a separate color.
