>make a choice in an rpg>play for 50+ hours>randomly decide should've chosen differently>reload back to the point before I made the choice and replay everything againHow do I stop being like this?
>>736501264you stop playing 50 hour games and advocate for games that have more branching story paths that take less time to play. i would rather play a game that takes 5 hours to complete that can be replayed 10 times with vastly different outcomes than a single game for 25 hours that has two main branching story paths. in both cases, i play 50 hours, but in the case of the shorter game i commit less each playthrough (that's a good thing)
>>736501264try not doing that
>>736501264That's good, you should get a good grasp of all the classes.
>>736501264Get a reverse lobotomy
>>736501264Care about seeing the end of this playthrough first over seeing what could have happened if different choices were made. One of my friends said she hasn't finished Baldur's Gate 3 because she keeps going way back to pick different dialogue options instead of progressing the story. I can't imagine wanting to see the middle of a story again instead of the ending the first time.

>>736501264Play a souls game or traditional roguelike. You'll fuck up and just run with it.
