Modders are attention whores who need validation and credit. It's why the modding landscape for TES is so dystopian and bootlicky. It's no longer about building off someone's work. They think they're making something original as modders.

If you consider their other ideas for characters, the protag being a redditor is hardly the worst they could've done.
The game is reddit but it isn't bad, also the demon character doesn't have a route and spends most of the game pissed off at you for removing moistcritical from the game.
