big step up from the modern warfare 2019 campaign i thought, as this one is actually about the original cod operators instead of a muslim resistance leader (she shows up but basically as just a cameo). i didnt like some of the campaign elements like the crafting but it wasnt too egregious. the best was when ghost, who in this game is portrayed as some form of autist who wears his skull mask all the time at work, dramatically takes it off to show how much hes come to appreciate his squadmates, followed by another scene where all of them put on skull masks and then call themselves the ghost unit for the next mission. you dont get any standout missions, like the bin laden raid or clean house from 2019, but it was still a lot more enjoyable than mw 2019 because the writing was a lot better. its a shame they stopped doing these, as apparently mw3s campaign is greatly reduced in scope
I liked them both but I felt 2's campaign was a little too short and didn't appreciate the cliffhanger. Never played 3's campaign despite owning it because I had no interest in doing a clearly phoned in campaign where you do side missions on the fucking warzone map. They have to do a lot better than that if they want me to play it.
>>736505060I hate that these games are made by so many studios and divisions that ocassionally, an hour or so section is truly decentin this case, where the soap guy is hunted on the streets of mexico
>>736505060this is very subtle bait, nicely done
>>736508636>in this case, where the soap guy is hunted on the streets of mexicoi thought the dialogue between him and ghost during that level was really charming in a completely stupid way
