>Sounds more like an alien invasion, if you ask meWhat does he say in the remake?
>>736505763No way fag
>>736505763That exchange doesn’t happen in the remake, because Saddler revealing himself in-person that early on was always stupid and out-of-character, because he still had Chief Mendez, Saddler, and Krauser to deal with Leon, an going after the Americans at that point should be “below” him. In the remake, he doesn’t show up until shit’s kind of getting out of control, and there’s a genuine chance that Leon and Ashley might get away.
>>736505763He says "Sounds like America invading Iraq if you ask me!"
>>736506187He was there to look up Ashley's skirt, but Leon ruined it.
>>736506187Nah I like the original Saddler more, he was way more fun in the original
>>736506187>because Saddler revealing himself in-person that early on was always stupidNot really.
>>736506187Sadler was rubbing it in their faces that, even if they try to escape, they are still infected and will serve his purposes no matter what they do. He didn't feel like he was threatened at all, in fact he was acting like he already won. That's called being a fun villain.
>>736508119How does shooting Ashley with flaming crossbow bolts figure into his grand scheme?
Why didn't Sadler just let them go, again? Wasn't his plan to get at the US president via his infected daughter?
>>736508119how does saddler's senior moment factor into his grand plan
>>736507826>>736508119>funHow, exactly? Personality-wise, he’s basically interchangeable with Salazar. He feels more like an unintimidating huckster than the holy leader of an otherworldly cult, and when Leon calls him “small-time”, I’m inclined to believe it. He won’t shut the fuck up, which ruins any mystique to the guy. Leave the shit-talking to Salazar.
>>736508496highly advanced rubber bolts, bsaa issue
>>736508553It was kind of a dumb plan anyway, because the first thing to happen upon Ashley and Leon’s return would be a complete top-to-bottom medical examination, and I’ve got to imagine a horseshoe crab in your chest would probably show up.
>>736508553I dunno, would Luis have cured them before that could happen if Saddler didn't interfere?
>>736507826The hijacked comms being removed in the remake was pretty lame. There's some great interactions in the oghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQ5TXwDDudM
>>736508496They weren't aiming for her vitals.
>>736509203really was a mistake to remove the comms scenes. I know some of the lines for Salazar were repurposed for his boss fight etc. but Saddler really is boring in the remake.
>>736508496Nothing a first aid spray wouldn't fix.
>>736509289that would start to make sense if they knew ashley would be a stationary target
>>736509203that ooop and laugh is a nice touch from Sadler's VA.
>>736505763Why does Leon look like a pedophile school shooter in the original game
>>736509203>It should keep you busy
>>736508875>He feels more like an unintimidating huckster than the holy leader of an otherworldly cultBecause that's exactly what he is. He pulled the wool over an uneducated mass' eyes using shitty American movie stereotypes and practically says this. He can't fool Leon so why bother with a facade when bantering with him?Remake Saddler played the cult leader thing completely straight and was much more forgettable because of it
>>736509498>I'll call him a pedophile, that's a neat trick!reset your vernacular
>>73650855310 minutes of gameplay in that version lolbut I guess a semi-real answer is they would probably quarantine her immediately so it would be ineffective, she'd live in isolation forever or die so in theory the plan of infection would be contained. Nobody wins.
>>736509289grace, i didn't hit any of her vitals
>>736508553Saddler says he needs ransom money from the president for Ashley when you meet him in the church.
>>736509648Fair, I suppose, and I guess it comes down to personal tastes, but it just doesn’t make for a very compelling horror/action big bad for me, and I guess the remake dev team agreed.I also can’t separate the OG VA’s voice from old Disney Wonder Ball commercials, but that’s not really his fault.
