Do you engage emoshonally with games? What's the last game that made you feel something? Do you laugh and cry at all during games, or are you too neurodivergent to feel anything?

with vns it happens sometimes, with games i feel like pretty infrequently. i don't have the best memory so i don't remember the last time it happened in a game.

Why would I have feelings about something that doesn't affect me personally? A game's story has nothing to do with me.

Anthology of the Killer drew a few giggles out of me, and some scenes did stay with me for a while.

I think this counts as crying, but my eyes hurt and I felt them get wet like five times playing manosaba. I really hate that I can't cry enough to actually have a tear run down my cheek. Shit must feel real good.

Crying is fine. Laughing too. For the neurodivergent among us, it may be difficult to express emotions as normies do, but as long as you feel something, you're alive. Part of indulging such emotions is letting your guard down and empathizing with art. This isn't easy, particularly for dudes.

Considering how much corposlop is on offer, it may feel like manufactured melodrama most of the time. You have to accept that sometimes, that's what it is. Bear in mind, even with such constraints as deadlines, marketing, and technical limitations, artists still put their soul into the work.

Just gotta sift through the slop to find the kino.
