I just beat Firered Essence on my cell and really liked it heres my teamOriginally i wanted to make a Sun team but it didnt work out the way i plannedCharizzard just doesnt make for a good mon in such a team i should have went with Ivysaur since he gets growth and syntheses and grass has overall more synergy with sun then fire all they get is a dmg buff but grass has Chlorophyl and insta Solar beam He also just wasnt that good overallHe didnt do that much damage and wasnt tankie Bruno and Lorelei can easily tank him and beat him because of his bad typingVileplume i picked up against misty and never dropped him he was decently tankie and set up sun and solar beam was reallypowerful on him he beat majority of loreleis team in one hitSnorlax was really bad i planned to drop him on some powerful enemy and then use yawn but he wasnt as tankie as i hopedBruno k.o him and he didnt do as much damage as i hoped he would i should have picked cleafable over him with thunderwave since hes more tankie and has a better supporting movesetAerodactly also had sunny day and was my lead because he also gets acces to taunt but he was frail and leveling him up to the point where he could be used took to longThankully i saved up all my rare candy for him but he was a disapointment overallOn my first run i lost to lance because i didnt have any Ice coverage and thought Alakazams raw power was enough to handle him so i added the Birds and Ditched Jolteon and AlakazamOverall i should have picked squirtle i fell like Rain is more powerful with omestar and Zapdos and laterone Kingdra If i ever play the game again i will defintly try rain since i already tried a sun team with Ivysaur a few years ago when i played the throwback romI can get all the starters and trade evolutions in this hack so maybe i build my dream team in the postgame but it just wouldnt be the same as finishing the game with the idea you had in your mind from the begining
anon, not to be rude, but what's the point of strategizing this hard in a hack that seems to be essentially the same difficulty as vanilla? fairly sure you can get away with just clicking the super effective move against every encounter

>>736516905the problem is you can get them pretty early on after the 3 gym with the mastervall if you really want to ans they completely curb stomp everyone who gets in your way afterwards so using them fells like cheating a bit even though there are stronger non legendary mons out there
