Do you play one single game at a time until you finish it or do you cycle through multiple games?
One single player game and one multiplayer game.
if it's a game I can just pick up and play for a bit, then it doesn't matter. if it's something where one playthrough requires a significant time investment, then it's the only one of it's kind I'm playing until I'm either done or lose interest.
I don't allow myself to play any more than 2 games at a time.Even if both of them are 80+ hour slogs that I got bored of after 10 hours, I can't play anything else until I finish them.Help.

I play multiple games concurrently because my dopamine system is fucking fried and nothing feels fun so I move on to something to grasp what little enjoyment I can get from novelty before that too escapes me.

Usually 2-4 games at any given time, and I'll play one Monday, a different one Tuesday, etc. The exception is certain horror games, I love horror so like most recently RE9 and Fatal Frame 2R came out and I dropped everything to play those more than once.

I usually rotate through a couple games, and sometimes switch to a "comfy filler" when I'm sleepy but not ready for bed.I'm rotating Death Stranding 2 and Cyberspunk, and doing runs in Siralim Ultimate late.I'm also rotating No Rest For the Wicked and Abiotic Factor with a few friends though whenever they're on instead.
I usually have one or two games that are shorter I'll play, and one long-form RPG that I take breaks from. right now I'm playing crimson desert, around 40 hours in it so far, and then I recently beat intravenous (1, inside 2) and amd now playing some SNES games from a randomizer.
