In terms of memorable / iconic / pioneer, the best Smash is unironically Brawl :
- Introduced Guests Newcomers (he's in!)
- Cinematic and interactions between characters in Story mode (NCU)
- Gameplay was aight despite being moon gravity (just ban Metaknight)
- Several Games modes
- Online was ass but we didn't evolved that much desu, like we need a fucking delay mod for Ultimate lmao

Overall, the best Smash is Ultimate.
Next Smash needs a lobby like Kirby Air Riders and rollback netcode. Imagine if 3 vs 3 becomes viable.
