how did /v/ react to this when it released?
>wow that's bold and brash
>>736519636I stood and clapped.
first with outrage, then memes and shitpostingalso remember a lot of misinformation going around that abby was trans
>>736519636
>>736519636It was massively mocked and was one of the largest contributors to meme OC in awhile. druckman truly revealed himself as a hack and a retard. this was his downfall. Plus you cant shoot up the synagogue.
>>736519636memed the fuck out of the leaks and then some when it actually released
There was a lot of shitposting and I think a lot of confusion about why they would kill off the main protagonist.Joel's death could have actually had meaning if it had been reworked. But it happens like an hour into a 15 hour game, and I had spent maybe 20 minutes with Abby, so I never gave a fuck about her, her friends, her father, etc. I cared about Ellie and Tommy losing a family member. If Joel's death happened 65% of the way through the game, and had Abby been well written I think I would have been more emotional while also being able to have sympathy for Abby, but I didn't because of the timing. When I got to the end I wanted to slit Lev's throat in front of her and then leave her on the cross. Its a shame because I enjoyed the first one but they ruined the best part of the game which is that you have long periods of being a duo, so you feel alone in the world and meeting Bill, David, Sam etc actually has meaning. I'm invested in the characters. I don't remember the name of anyone on Abby's side besides her because there was so much interaction in a post-apocalyptic world that I never felt danger or a sense of isolation
like this
was it leaked like kcd2's scenes were?
TLOU was always Jewish propaganda (it features a child reading gay porn, and said child was always gay herself given that the DLC was written first), but that was the moment most people became aware of it
>>736519636Made memes and sang a song.
mocking akin to joker part 2 rape just a attempt to sabotage an ip bigger than themselves
>>736520159sauce on them jewess milkers?
>>736519636Unfortunately a lot of anons' first exposure to the game was through a series of leaked cutscenes and a series of (admittedly hilarious) memes based on them. Many never played it themselves, or found their experience too tainted by preconceived opinions if they did. Those of us who avoided leaks and played it unspoiled at launch tend to have different opinions on the game compared to those who participated in the shitposting.
>>736519687>more like, "Neil's cock in my ass"!
Never understood the supposed outrage. /v/ hated the first game too for being overrated movieshit and called Citizen Kane of gaming.
>>736519636>he's too big of a newfag to remember everyone laughing at this shit>he missed the endless flood of template memesI pity you. It was fun.
>>736520634don't tire your little brain out
>>736520778couldn't have been funnier than the GTA remaster threads.
>>736520634a ton of people who were outraged don't even care about the Last of Us, they just saw it as another flashpoint in the culture war
>>736520634>most of /v/ laugh at the game for sacrificing an established character for the sake of empowered lesbian wymmin shit>the small part of /v./ that played the game got mad at the game for sacrificing an established character for the sake of empowered lesbian wymmin shit>all came together to criticize and laugh at the game's expenseIt's not complicated at all - not that you aren't feigning ignorance, of course.
