I emulated with switch 1, and didnt have a steam deck. I got one and love it. The classics collection alone is worth it (been playing mario world 2), then you have mariokart/mario/zelda/etc. I have a PC but I cant carry my PC with me. It's a dual purpose system, hence the name switch.

btw, the new boost mode is great, acts as if docked (higher res) for switch 1 games.

it's really good for mh rise/sunbreak desu. not every 1 game has updates. plus there are lots of good deals on switch 1 games.
