Other contemporary IPs had already gotten HD remakes too like SM64 and OoT on Gamecube so why not MP1?

Samus Returns and Dread were good 2D successes in that timeframe. 3D Metroid needed a comeback and that's what MP1R did. It makes no business sense nor any sense as a fan to not want to see an HD remake of one of the most highly reviewed games ever. MP1 is basically the OoT of Metroid so why be so averse to MP1R? Are you just that jaded and want Metroid to fail?

It was good though and I bought it and enjoyed playing Metroid prime for the first time after a long time of only playing the 2D MetroidsI'm hoping they bring 2 and 3 as well but I also have Dolphin setup with a mouse injector in case they don't.
