Marathon is a great game. Jeff Gerstmann rated it a 5/5 and I trust him and review outlets far more than I trust any one of you or Reddit regarding the quality of a game. My own experience with it was also very fun, even though I’m sort of done with it for now. It’s certainly better quality wise than the Crimson Desert that you people like to flex with.

It’s amazing how much better Marathon is than all the other online current shooter games just from getting the atmosphere down perfectly. Problem is these games all fill up with cheaters, you can’t beat them and you can’t ban them, they’re all on torrented copies of the game. If Bungie are smart, they’ll add dungeons and raids to Marathon at the expense of D2 fans crying, but whatever. D2 is a decade old now. Time for the studio to move on. The fans couldn’t even appreciate a Metroid Prime expansion with Edge of Fate, their fanbase is hopeless.
