Both have their perfect game, and both have their garbage game that everyone pretends to love, and both have that one game that's somewhere in between the two. Finally, both have the first two games in the series that boomers still play and hail as the best in the franchise, because Todd wasn't involved. They're the same picture.

Fallout has quest reward xp for leveling.Elder scrolls has skills used for leveling.The answer for best role playing is obvious...

I think FNV is better than Morrowind in many ways, but I do not find myself as immersed in the Mojave as I am in Vvardenfell. They're both the best in their respective series and I'd consider each of them leaps and bounds above their peers, both within their own series and in first-person RPGs in general. cRPGs are a different thing entirely and it's very difficult to compare FO1/2 to the rest of the series.
