Now that the dust has settled, can we all admit that due to hasbro demanding tons of rewrites to fit the tone of the film and 5.5e rules that came out the same year and the fact hasbro pushed up the release date a month to beat slopfield to market, Larian absolutely released BG3 unfinished and with tons of cut stuff so they could meet the minimum requirements of their contract and fuck off from ever working with hasbro again.idk why people argued this when the game came out, there were tons of games like Blood 2 that were shat out and released unfished because the devs had to meet producer goals/contracts and just said fuck it and got the game out so they could get out of the contract
>>736528000Larian's last 5 games before BG3 were released in an unfinished state, could be all for different reasons, but no sane person would expect anything else from them. There are games that get released in an unfinished state, that get patched up eventually, but in this case, post release patches were mostly fluff and some technical crap, some even producing more bugs than they fixed.
>>736528274Actually, scratch that, now that I think about it, they weren't unfinished. Maybe they're just fucking retarded and don't know how to develop a game beyond the initial concept and that's why they always end up like this. Makes perfect sense
There are still so many bugs in BG3, and Larian just released their final hotfix. Pisses me off so fucking much. If those Belgian cocksuckers think I'm going to buy their next Divinity game, they're deluded.
>>736529509>Larian just released their final hotfixYou're telling me my snatch that got trumped a couple weeks later was just before there would be no more trumping?

>>736530539>>736531560Completing a torrent download is called "snatching" it. On a well-administrated torrent tracker, old redundant torrents or ones with mistakes get pruned in favor of newer replacements. The old torrent is "trumped" by a new one. A game that gets dozens of updates pushed on GOG will have an old "stable" version kept around plus the latest version, meaning dozens of interim versions that repeatedly get trumped. And who knows when or if the next update will be.
