As someone who truly loved the first game, Termina fucking sucks balls. I've tried to like it, played completely blind like the first game and it felt like an ubishitifcation of the original ideas. The maps are far bigger, filled with different places, but with a small amount of content and some of them having LITERALLY nothing to be found, not even enemies or some stupid shit. I've played for like 10 hours and it felt completely different, I feel lazy just thinking about having to navigate all that shit again, but I would easily replay runs from the beginning all the time with the original. The first game had so much to find, including secrets in far smaller maps, each floor you've descended had the "what the fuck" feeling going on. I could also talk about the combat, how you can't hit the head at all directly now, everyone and their mothers got a hit for free with their body once you sever all the limbs or how you can easily kill the vast majority of enemies through their torso, I'm filled with survival items, especially food that I haven't had the need to use, but desu it's not like I've played much and that could be just the early game being far too easy with little choices. I still want to try to finish it at least, but even the themes don't entice me anymore (the little girl turned into "Dysmorphia" lol).
