Routine takes place on the moon. But that's if you enjoy the type of gameplay where you run around solving puzzles while a stalker enemy walks around.
Lots of games. It's just a setting. What genre are you looking for? Cuz Doom and Super Mario Galaxy both are in space. I recently got HOSAS and will be trying X4, Elite Dangerous, maybe everspace 2.
Elite Dangerous

If you want space-exploration, that's Outer Wilds for you.https://store.steampowered.com/app/753640/Outer_Wilds/It's not for everyone,Essentially the solar system is stuck in a 22mn time-loop, you have to understand why and then explore the one last thing left. It's not the kind of exploration game were you are given waypoints in any order, you just collect data, the ship computer in Rumor mode only keep track of what place it seems to be linked with. You have to put the puzzle together until you understand the story yourself. As a setting it's wookpunk spacecraft, with an emphasis on fears.Vertigo? Submersion? Object that appear/disappear? Quicksand? Tornadoes? Claustrophobia? Predators? You have them all.The DLC is a great encore on the theme of Fermi's paradox "Dark forest" theory, but essentially don't use the spacecraft.
>>736557553This is the only correct answer. Every other space game completely disregards gravity, physics and orbital mechanics.
>>736560442I'll be honest this did not live up to the hype at all, it's a space-themed walking sim with reddit writing rather than a space game.

SpaceEngine
>>736554307Space Engineers is a great one. Bit hard to start, though there's some guides on YouTube. No other space game has actually made me feel like I'm an astronaut or made me actually think about space as the danger it is.No other space game comes close to how SE makes space exploration feel. Leaving the atmosphere in a ship built and designed entirely by you, with fuel entirely processed by you. Having to maintain oxygen storage, food supplies and or a farm, making sure your hydrogen is protected so enemy weapons don't blow them the fuck up and so on.You can even build a remote control drone to "control" your planet base from space. And getting into combat is fun as fuck. Building your own missiles, dropping bombs from drones, launching missiles from space onto a planet base or just making a big ass dreadnought and cannoning them away.>picrel40k ship someone made that you can download the file for to copy the blueprint of to build or spawn in.

>>736561042The only hype around this game come from trolls or sometime culture warrior triggered because it's pro-science.Just make an informed choice instead of letting reddit-meme tell you what game you should hate or like.
Games with at least newtonian physics and maneuvers are exceedingly rare, I'll just make my own.
>>736561042>walking sim with jumping and jetpacksJust because there aren't enemies doesn't make it a walking sim, there are many other ways to die

>>736561964What kind of planetary system does SE have?
>>736562183Does KSP fit? I'm clueless.
>>736561964I hate how fucking shallow SE is at anything besides the ship building. People lament how little time it takes you to get diamonds in minecraft, in less time in SE you have all the metal you'll ever going to need to make a ship, then you spend the rest of the time on an empty as fuck planet in an empty as fuck solar system with nothing to do but build. It's more of a lego set than minecraft, there's no nothing to do besides making big shit in creative then joining your friend's server where you can shoot each other. Which, fine, if that's what you want, but game isn't advertised like that.
