Kinda helps if you zoom in and out, because the threshols for error is boxed into a smaller zone and you can at least maintain something of a visage, kind of, if that makes any sense. Also helps me to go for steady and smooth strokes, and switch my mouse DPI, but yeah, it's not ideal.

>>736657308I'm just a noob who draws only occasionally but here it was convenient even just for not going through the process of drawing lines, making sure there aren't any gaps, and then bucket filling. Instead you just draw the selection until satisfied, pick a second color and delete. Or make a larger shape by putting it together piece by piece. Or remove excess stuff to refine a crude shape. It was kind of like molding from clay - start from a vague blob silhouette, sculpt it into shape, work with larger pieces first, and add smaller details on top. And since the result will be messy, I get less conscious about getting it perfect, so there's a sense of comfort doing it that way.
