They really nailed the shooting. All the guns just feel really great. It's literally RE2make's combat but you finally don't have to go out of your way to avoid it and can actually have fun with it without feeling guilty that you spent ammo on something you could have just avoided or knifed in the most boring way possible, with some neat new tools. The enemies are also much more interesting and varied, we have the regular zombie like villagers but with different weapons that all slightly but meaningfully change their behavior, and then we have the cultists that are somehow just as fun to massacre as they were in Blood, my favorite are the shielded ones with the flails, they are just so goofy with having to destroy the shield first that can be broken up depending on where you shoot, or you just shoot the legs, and then headshot them, or just fucking shotgun the shield and it gets blown up lmao. Anyway, if anyone doesn't like RE4make's combat, they just don't like video games. Period.
