What was the goal with this remake? They just remixed RE1 again, added a bunch of stuff that slows the game down like a whole walking section with a gas tank and that weird Lisa Trevor boss. Why do people say it's the best remake ever?

In fact, the entire third floor where you use a ladder to get down to the library was pointless since there is nothing to find there aside from some healing items. That section could have been cut and they could have just let the door to the library work normally like in the original.

Then the remake comes out, and Chris has six slots again. Why? Because it was like that in the original, I guess.
