Why is GOG so obscure compared to Steam?
>>
>>736573672
because the service on steam is better than just playing standalone games. i'd be pirating every single game if Steam didn't had all of those features.
>>
>>736573672
Steam is for trannies who want to turn gaming into social media.

I actually bought my first game on gog a couple days ago after using steam for over 20 years. This old Pharaoh game btw, really good.
I did it because Steam was charging fucking 15 bucks for it while on gog it was like 2 dollars I think. Insane price difference.

gog has unprotected sex with random video gamers???????????????

Because steam won, cope and seethe like this faggot retard >>736574046
>>
>GOG trying to sell me pirated games
uhh no thanks? why would I pay to get something I could just take for free
>>
>>736573672
What do you mean? I get all my games from gog games. Drm free is awesome! They are literally free!
>>
because all they really have is installers
and no one gives a shit about that compared to what steam offers
>>
>>736573672
Isn't this literally only popular because you can pirate everything off it easily? It is like a rape slave. I guess I'm thankful though because Saya no Uta was great.

I love GOG and I use it whenever I can.
>>
>buy project zomboid on gog
>never have to deal with dev shittery or mod shittery since I can just download them right off of the workshop
>a modder can't yeet my mod out of my game over a tard rage
I was gifted it last year on steam and ever since i've been dealing with retardation ever since.

I thought Steam had some kind of clause where you can't sell the same game for lower prices on other platforms?

Your gf forcing you to wear a condom is the ultimate humiliation, how cruel could a girl be to not let her boyfriend rawdog her and just pullout before cumming. It's honestly insane, why are women so mean? A GOG game per day, keeps the humiliation away.

I don't fucking know. I also do not fucking care.
I do think it was on sale on gog but I didn't bother checking the price out of the sale. I just clicked the buy button.

Pretty sure steam added the ability to block mods auto updating pretty recently.
>>

Steamies have adopted their hero's Monopoly mindset of "no competitors, no survivors"

I am forcing myself to wear a condom because I don't trust my own hoe and know she probably got crabs or something

GOG's storefront looks like a fucking mess. They do however tend to be the better place to go if you want to play boomerge. They go the extra mile to ensure everything runs properly on modern systems so you can generally play them out of the box whereas Steam are too busy sticking DRM everywhere to ensure classic games get proper treatment

It's a band aid, requires you to use offline mode.
Part that was truly unforgivable was a mod updating while I had the game running, couldn't even load my save.
>>
When I used to travel a lot, I used GOG frequently. Being able to have game installers and install them on any computer, even offline, is a huge advantage.
However, few people actually use it that way. Most people always have internet access, so it's not as if having the installers on physical media is really necessary. Even if it were, people can easily use a smartphone as a router, connect their laptop to it, for example, and download the game.

Their strength is their selection of games from the 80s and 90s. Most people aren't buying those.

Not embracing their mascot's popularity was a mistake too.

retards and non regular gamers believe anime and cute characters are not something that belongs to video games. also the site is called good old games. so I expect old stuff.

I would buy games from any site that would not bend to visa and mastercard.
