Tarkov is legitimately some of the most fun I've had with any "new" FPS. The tension of trying to extract with your quest item or huge loot is a fucking thrill that very few games have come close to for me. The rush of taking out a guy or group that out gears you and taking all their shit right off their corpses has made most other pvp games kinda boring. I can't go back to any tactical shooters that don't have similar weapon handling mechanics. It also technically an absolutely shit heap with abysmal performance and a history of game breaking bugs. I am still hoping for a more competent developer to just steal the good parts of tarkov and package it into a game that actually runs properly and ideally has a broader scope than just small scale infantry combat. I tried arc raiders but its just such a dumbed down kiddie pool version, its like Dota2 vs League.
