Final Fantasy 13-2. Maybe that was just me being a glutton for punishment. You'd think an FF13 that had a ton of optional stuff would have lots of secret hard parts. The first kind of hard fight is the final boss.

Warframe but instead of getting better it got worse. I played beta, back when it was much, much slower paced. Quit for a few years only to come back and find that it's nothing but a "GO GO GO" skinnerbox pinata sim where everything just instantly vaporizes when you enter the room as they burst with treats so you can... vaporize them the same way but with a different skin, I guess? The playerbase has gotta be mazed addicts, there's no other explanation. I will say that the movement is fun, at least, but you do fuck all with it except for some MR tests.

every tales game, ive tried like 5 and the combat is so mind numbingly boring. the character interactions are fun but the actual gameplay is so bad that its not worth it.

Tales is in a weird spot where everyone says play Symphonia, yet Symphonia takes 20 hours to have okay combat and even that isn't great. Xillia 2 is the opposite where the story is very half-assed but fights are excellent.
