Its been a few years since my last playthrough, but you can generate gil from the Golden Saucer at this point through chocobo breeding, or even the coliseum. From there you'll have enough gil to do whatever you want. Having a balanced forces and you should be fine, but you could also try and fight them with your party as the other anon suggested.

It's not worth the trouble. Should be obvious. None of the sidequests are worth the trouble except the story-focused ones, mainly the ones relating to the optional characters. The game is extremely easy as it is, so anything you get from sidequests other than lore is worthless.

No. There is nothing you can that can be gotten elsewhere. Also im pretty sure it's like half finished by the creators. And you have to autistically go there at arbitrary points in time. Theres an incredibly stupid small window to get to one battle when youre in Junon that you can miss. You don't even get any sort of achievement or reward for doing them all to prove that you did kt.

Well, my party consist of Cloud, Tiffa and Yummie, all currently at level 25. The win condition is that there are no enemies left on screen, not actually suriving the wave. Because of that you can cheese it by moving your line down as fast as possible by spawning units as low as possible and just have them camp at the enemy spawn points. Takes like a minute if you do it right

From what I remember you set the speed to slowest and just use fighters or whatever the foot soldier unit is called to push your line down further and just kill whatever had time to spawn and then you're done. I couldn't tell you how much it costs but there isn't a whole lot you need to spend money on in ff7 anyway
