Be honest: is this a cool design for a large enemy?
put some pants on slut
>>736643807It's an ogre. It has no better sense of fashion and is not a child of God.
Uh, well if you were going for some Jim Henson fantasy style enemy, then kino
>>736644097Good. The Dark Crystal is one of my influences.
Depends on how it's animated honestly. If it's regular animations it could just be a big generic ogre/monster. If it has a lot of neck physics it could be quite weird and uncanny, almost like a souls-like monster whipping its head around like it has a broken neck, giving it a weird creepy vibe. Or if it's more predator, constantly staring at the player and biting/lunging with long pecks it could be more like a dinosaur creature. I think the design is fine on its own but gives a sort of "big battlefield living siege weapon" vibe with the banner and minimal armor, so I'd imagine it surrounded with smaller goblins or orc troops, it would look weird by itself in like a dungeon if that makes sense.
>>736643789>No bulgeThere better be a genital slit under there or I swear to god...
>>736644168Good suggestions, actually. I envision these behemoths being escorted by teams of trolls or dog-faced monsters, all serving under the rule of a diabolical dinosaur and his invading cronies. As for the animations, I was thinking it would lumber about like a large, fat ogre or cyclops and its head always constantly facing its attacker like how geese and chickens keep their heads completely still when focusing on something. To elaborate further, if someone fast is running around it, the head will keep focusing and writhing like a snake while its fat body tries to keep up. Only when both the head and body are turned to face its enemy will it then try to make a beeline and smash him into the ground with a scaly fist or maybe peck and ragdoll him. It's all just ideas at this point.
>>736643789Yeah i like it, but the back banner implies a society of long necked turtle bastidsMaybe more fitting a design for a blobber than an rpg ya get me
>>736645242Just to follow up it really reminds me of King of Dragon Pass, id play a similar game with this art
>>736645242The emblem is supposed to be a stylized head of a Tyrannosaurus, since that's what the main villain looks like. I drew a more refined version of the emblem so you can have a better look.
>>736645291Enlighten me on King of Dragon Pass.
>>736644231I'm not adding in a corkscrew.
Bump
>>736643789can you provide some measurements? How tall is it? Is it a male or female? What does it sound like? Are they tribal in nature? What does their culture look like?
looks like a big fat humanoid ostritch to me, was that the goal?
>>736643789No, but I like seeing traditional art
>>736648649It's about five meters tall in height. The ones seen on the battlefield are all male, and females are very hard to come by as they are not of this land. As a simple creature found in marshes, it has no real culture: it bears the coat of arms and uniform of whoever enslaves it and its kind. Its call is like that of a goose/baritone person.
>>736645779Its a bronze age setting with a very involved mythos. Too much to summarize. There are 3 games on steam that are like VNs+tribe managers with unique stories and side quests. Its a place out of time where sometimes dead gods come down as golden or copper meteorites, or will randomly manifest within their followers shrines as a test, or bless their followers when they ritually torture a random peasent from a rival clan, or conversely curse them for doing such an act. The godswar is eternal and the followrs of the gods empower them by reenacting their stories. In the case of dragon newts (pic related) they are commanded to give gifts to those who speak old draconic. They are forbidden from receiving reciprocal gifts and will be hostile if you try to give gifts to them, while other beastmen and even humans will demand gifts and more.Other notables are Dara Happans, sun worshippers who built a grand dome to stop an encroaching glacier, Uroxi berserkers looking for chaotic beasts to kill, trolls cursed to be hungry forever, and duckmen who worship human gods and fight undead
>>736649374>goose/baritone person.so humanoid low pitch grunts unless excited, then it makes goose honking?
>>736643789she's a little ugly
>>736649421Very interesting. I'll have to give it a look.>>736649424More like a weird mix of growling honks and hissing when provoked.
