Is there any good OELVN besides Katawa Shoujo and maybe Doki Doki? I've been giving some chinese ones like Hungry Lamb and Murders on the Yangtze River and they were pretty good, which ended up getting me curious to check out other non-JP VNs.
Everyone calls Tokimeki Memorial a VN but I finally played it and it's not a novel at allIt doesn't even have plotlines, just a bunch of random events and making number go up/down math gameplay. There's no story to "read." You have to imagine your own story made up of the misc stuff that happensMight as well call Civilization a novel at that point
