I cannot think of a single remaster or remake better than the original. The closest would be Command & Conquer they obviously put a lot of love into it but the changes to the AI made it too frustrating. Every single enemy tank seems to basically lock onto your infantry and run them over with complete perfect micro. I appreciate the effort they put into improving the visuals, integrating the expansions and rerecording the OST with Frank Klepacki but it's still overall a worse version than the original
