Did you beat Majora's Mask?Did you use any guide?
Yeah, it was the VersusBooks strategy guide. I remember it made a joke that you could take the Deku Princess to the Curiousity shop and hawk her off there for money.
No. It's an OK game but a bad Zelda game.
>>736650374The only thing I used a guide for was the kafei and anju quest and I got in trouble for wasting printer paper
>>736650374yeah. I used a guide for a couple of the side quests to 100% it. good game, I should give it another go, it's been ages. is the 3ds remake good?
>>736650374YesNo... I did have to look up that you have to drag the Zora guy all the way to the ocean (how was I supposed to know when you can only do that to blocks?) and one or two heart pieces, but thats about it
>>736650374Yes, and yes I used GameFAQs for an all-masks guide back in the day.
>>736650525Your momentum from spinning before a deku hop doesnt carry over and you have to use magic to get to zora swim from the original, they also changed the bosses but they added fishing and the gyro aiming is an improvement. If you have a 3ds and the first few changes aren't dealbreakers for you it's fine, otherwise just play the PC port
>>736650374No. I got it when it came out, and it was fun, but the time limit shit made getting to and beating dungeons annoying.
For some reason I got stuck with finding the Zora eggs as a kid. I must have just kept missing one because I had most. After a few times I sent a letter to Nintendo asking for help. They sent me a full players guide back, although I had gotten farther by that point. Real cool of them though.
I hade the shitty strategy guide for the zelda collectors edition. It had a guide for zelda 1, zelda 2, OOT, and MM in the same book and it wasn't very long. I think it made the game harder. It was just plain wrong about some stuff and vague as fuck.
>>736650374yes, but im not gay enough for 100% completion
I played it and OoT for the first time a couple of years ago and i didn't 100 000 000% them but I did beat them.
>>736650857Dungeons were not difficult to beat on your own. The challenging part is the repetition necessary to 100% the game. You’d need to revisit every npc in different ways over and over to make sure you didn’t miss anything. That gets boring pretty fast like if you show up and there’s nothing to do, you just wasted your time. So you always end up just using a guide for that type of game, but following a guide isn’t always that fun like it depends sometimes it’s alright. But yeah if you struggled with beating the game in an any% type of way then you’re probably like completely fucking retarded irl like you’d have to be actually drinking your coffee through a straw like you wake up with a pillow covered in drool and the woman next to you has a face that looks like a mushy potato kinda tier. Like if you can’t any% a Zelda game, it’s not looking too good for your future. I suggest blaming trump, he should’ve spent that wall bucks on a world ending device so that people like you didn’t need to be victims of fortune anymore.
>>736652629Nigger, you got the bomber notebook, it tells you all you need to know. There is no need for blind experimentation.
>>736650525>>736650812To add on to this, there is a mod that fixes the issues and makes it play basically like an enhanced version of the n64 game. If you have a hacked 3ds, that's probably the best way to play it. Project restoration is what it's called.
>>736650374>Did you beat Majora's MaskYes>Did you use any guideI had neither money nor internet access, so no.
>>736650374the 3ds version had a guide built into the game so there was no need for one
>>736654212You can't say that word
I borrowed Majora from a friend but I didn't like dealing with the timer so I never finished it
>>736650457>It's an Empty Bottle. You put things in it. Then you dance and sing and hop and frolic because you're so happy. Tra-la-la-la-la
