We should focus more on spreading out supports since its pretty easy, just 2 combats together per support point and even less with dual strikes and even less than that if you are rounding up. If Fates writing were consistent and the Xander we see in supports was presented throughout the rest of the game, he’d be far and away the best character in Fates and a strong contender for one of the best in the series. Part of the reason this board spams FE6 relays is because the meta is much more interesting and less set in stone than in the other games. There's fewer obvious decisions between units of similar roles and classes. This isn't the case with FE7 or FE8. Pretty much everyone agrees Sain > Kent, Fiora > Florina, Raven > Guy, Hector good and Eliwood/Lyn are garbage, there's no debate on who's the best unit at any point in the game, etc. There's much fewer topics to generate debate and interest in.

The way it goes every time is that by the time I get to Percival, whichever of the two I'm focusing more on is already beating Percy in his main stat (STR or SPD) while slightly behind him in the other. I don't think bulk really matters all that much in a game with such freely available robes and a 60 HP cap.
