Best Castlevania ever
>>736707952Second to OoE imo but great game.
>>736707952You mean CV64
>>736707952AoS > SotN > OoE
I 100%d every GBA/DS IgavaniaIncluding but not limited toGetting all DSS cards in CotMGetting all the furniture in HoDGetting the Chaos ring in AoSGetting the Chaos ring AND making every weapon in DoSGetting every single equipment and 100% all skills in PoRGetting the Queen of Hearts in OoEAnd I did all this over 20 years ago which makes me far older than you too. What about you /v/, do you even play video games?
Which Castlevania should a new player start from? The must-haves? Also, are the Lords of Shadow games any good?
>>736707985OoE the best ever
>>736708137All that and you missed the greatest castlevania experience ever released?
>>736707952I enjoyed it, but I think it's a step down from SotN. It can't match Symphony's aesthetics, but it's just as easy.>>736708137OoE is the only one I liked enough to bother doing that.>>736708317It's a big series, and pretty consistently good, so there isn't really an easy answer to that. Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night might serve as a decent introduction to the two major genre styles, though.>Lords of Shadow games any good?I only played the first one. It's decent, but not quite high quality or unique enough to really distinguish itself
>>736708317Aria of Sorrow is honestly a good place to start, then play Dawn of Sorrow which is a direct sequel and also really good. The other two DS games, Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia, are also bangers.
>>736708137>Getting all DSS cards in CotMoh you 25%ed it?that's not what the 100% condition would be
>>736707952>>736707985>>736708319Uh okay but that's not Harmony of Dissonance>>736708317There's three types of Castlevania1. Classicvania - platformers2. Pre-Pokemon Castlevania - Whip and subweapon-based metroidvanias. These are SoTN, Circle of the Moon and Harmony of Dissonance3. Post-Pokemon Emerald Castlevania - Gotta catch 'em all soul slop where your weapons and loot are secondary to spraying enemies with succubus piss or whatever
>>736707952Nope.Aria of Sorrow is a 7/10.Dominus Collection (Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia) are all 10/10.Sympohny of the Night is a 3/10 and most overrated piece of shit game that I had the misfortune of REPLAYING recently. It has terrible map design, is extremely boring, terrible enemy variety, empty and way too easy.Aria of Sorrow should only be played once (normal+hard playthrough) to understand what is going on before Dawn of Sorrow. That is it. It should never be REPLAYED after that. The only 3 Castlevania games that should be REPLAYED are the Dominus Collection (Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia).Anyone who disagrees with this is either a nostalgia high subhuman or a retard.
>>736708137This isn't a very interesting post, surely after doing all that you have some thoughts to share on the games?
>>736707952bosses suck
>>736707952>tfw you will never get to play this
>AoS>DoSVirgin >DoS>AoSChad
Are all the Castlevania games easy? I only rememver having trouble with Simon's Quest and SCIV.
>>736711310Hell yeah, man. I love grinding for souls with the literally broken luck stat so I can fuse weapons instead of just finding them in the world, rewarding exploration. My favorite.
>>736711743Luck is not broken in DoS and has never been broken, it is a myth and unverified. There is no need to Grind, you play the game and you get Souls, it is a perfect system.Soul Eater Ring makes getting all souls and maxing souls pretty easy.
>>736708695real talk i would fucking love a pc port of this to play with /v/ros
>>736708137>he didn't finish the SotN bestiary drops, reached over 200% map completion and maxed out every familiarGo back to the womb you fucking amateur.
>>736713109A couple years back there was a /v/ group that played on the emulated version of the gameIt even had a couple fan made levels iirc
I like SotNIt has Galamoth
>>736707952Somafagging will ALWAYS be cringe.>>736707985OoE is, indeed, kino.
>>736707952AoS fucking SUCKS. What the FUCK is the hype around that pos? Is it just some generation's first vania or some shit? It BLOWS. It is the blandest, more boringest, fucking shit mechanic crapalvania I have ever attempted to play multiple times. I just don't fucking get it. SotN blows it out of the water. PoR blows it out of the water. CotM blows it out of the water. Fucking hell, HoD is better. Yeah bitch I said it. HoD is better. At least it has fun movement options. Fuck AoS I MEAN FUCK AOS.
>>736708137Fuck off casual.I've done it too. I've also beaten all classicvanias, 100% all 3Dvania, 100% Bloodstained and its prequels and 100% a fuck ton of metroidvanias. And if you count soulslikes as 3D metroidvanias, that too.
>Has actual challenge, unlike most of the Metroid-likes>Has a mix of traditional Castlevania type levels and nonlinear Metroidvania ones>Finally changed the meta so it isn't just jump cancelling again>Had a stamina system before it was in every game>Finding good glyph combinations and getting the right rhythm for chaining attacks feels satisfying>Best music since SotN>Hard mode is a lot of fun and gives bosses new animations and attacks
>>736707952Before playing this my only experience with GBAvania was Circle of The Moon as a kid and I didn’t like it all that much. I didn’t think it was possible for it to surpass SoTN but AoS did.
>>736713593You can easily beat the entire game by just putting the same glyph on two buttons and spamming rapidly because there's no animation delay.
>>736713870There is an animation delay though, and the timing is different for each set of weapons. You can attack really fast with dual rapiers, but dual hammers are much slower. It also doesn't reward you for mashing the buttons... you have to get the timing right for them to hit quickly.
>>736707952>2026>Still no rerelease of handheld games without the shitty bit crushed audioWhy...............?
>>7367079521. Aria of Sorrow2. Circle of the Moon3. Symphony of the NightThis is objective. Don't even (you) me.
Have some Shanoa cheek peak
>>736713956No, there isn't animation delay and that isn't what animation delay is. You can spam continuously without any sort of delay if you use both buttons.
>>736714012I have similar thoughts for those 3 games
>>736708317I believe that the best way into the series is starting with Rondo of Blood and then Symphony of the Night, to experience the two kind of Castlevania in perfect harmony, But if you ask me for the best just go for the GBA titles.
>>736714047that's all well and good, but let's see some in game charlotte cheek peek, otherwise known as the single sexiest pixel in gaming
>>736713593Also,>Story is better than any of the other portable games>They finally got rid of that abomination that was the anime art style and returned to a proper gothic style
OoE blows. People just like it because Shanoa.
>>736714538Portrait of Ruin so boring I thought I might be done with the franchise but the moment I killed the crab in OoE I knew I was in for a wild ride
>>736713593>>Best music since SotNthat's harmony of dissonance

>>736711310subhuman taste. disgusting
So Konami said that we'll be getting more Castlevania projects aside from Belmont's Curse and they might be that leaked AAA game and Moonlight Rhapsody, but what would you guys like to see? The 3D collection and a new M2 remake also seem inevitable.
>>736720685I remember the saying the leaked AAA game was a "reimagining" and with Symphony of the Night's 30th anniversary coming next year, it might be a remake of that game.
>>736709470i've never seen a worse taste in videogames in my life.
>>736714012Based Circle enjoyer. Instant respect for that pick, though I would put Portrait above it personally.AoS > PoR > CotM > SotN > DoS > OoE > HoD
>>736707952It's pretty good, but I prefer DoS.
>>736720789I think it will be a Dracula's Curse remake.
>>736708317For the love of God just start with 1 and 3, you don't have to beat them your first try but at least get a good feel for them before moving forward. Also play the Japanese version of 3. You can treat the US version as a remixed extra difficulty mode.
>>736707952Pic unrelated
>>736720685>but what would you guys like to see?The 1999 game or a third Sorrow game.
>>736720928I honestly think it's crazy anyone would prefer AoS. Being able to upgrade every weapon type into an endgame-viable state and having levelable souls meant that you could finally have a truly custom, replayable playstyle variance instead of just flat upgrades to one best loadout. Maybe because I found a small amount of grinding where you optimize a route into and out of a space, landing the fastest attacks and managing mana-parity to be kinda fun in its own way.
>>736707952That's not Shanoa's game though
>>736707952PoR > OoE > CotM > AoS > HoD > DoS > SotN
>>736723969abysmal taste
Is OoE exceptionally tough or was I just playing all the babyvanias before I got to it? I gave up on it repeatedly over the years.
>>736724605Where did you stop? It's actually not that hard
>>736707952Why does no one cares about classicvanias?
>>736724807They suck
>>736724807I do, and I just got around to doing 1CC runs of most of them
>>736724605You just got used to the babyvaniasOoe is the first one to be challenging since the classicvanias
>>736724605I don't remember it being especially tough. Had its fair amount of difficult moments just like most other games but nothing insane afaik>>736707952My favorites are:1. Dawn of Sorrow2. Order of Ecclesia3. Circle of the Moon
>>736725242Circle of the Moon was pretty spicy too
>>736713109>>736713280There's a fanmade pc port (with some elements like the menu significantly stripped down) called Unity HD
I bought all the Castlevania games recently even the Dead by Daylight Castlevania dlc.Which game should I start off if I never played them before?
>>736726060either the first one if youre a purist or rondo of blood/symphony of the night if you want the igavania stuff.
>>736726060GBA collection
I saw a video rant from some guy complaining that castlevania has half the name in the metroidvania genre, despite most metroidvanias using basically nothing that the castlevanias are known for and may as well just be metroidlikesBut now I get why, its because half the entire fucking genre is igavania games
>Soma never interacted with Death once in his entire duology
>>736726060GBA collection then the DS game collection.
>>736707952You mean it’s your favorite.
>>736716747Blasphemous and Ori.
>>736726101>>736726108>>736727031How is Dead by Daylight? I bought the Castlevania dlc as well for it, but I don't know much about Dead by Daylight.
>>736708090/thread
>>736727286I've never played DbD so no clue. I like how the devs expressly avoided using content from the shitflix cartoon for the collab.
>>736713593Has Shanoa
>>736707952MICHAEL!
>>736708137>Getting all the furniture in HoDYou must have the patience of a saint.
>>736727701All the collabs avoided it and during the interview with Evil Empire for Belmont's Curse, they never mentioned it once.
>>736729641>netflixvania getting shit onbased
>>736708695Playing this on XBox Live at initial launch was a magical month indeed. Everyone trying new shit, seeing new items for the first time, it was awesome. To this day it is still one of the best online multiplayer experiences I have ever had.
>>736730656Worst than shit on, people are pretending it doesn't exist.
>>736729641I pray that at some point this year, nogturne gets officially canceled. During Castlevanias 40th anniversary.
>>736715742>>736715990https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyaEy31BdDEhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6EXmvn79bc
>>736730787I think it's already dead, it's been more than a year since season 2 ended and there's no news of renewal.
I LIKE the lords of shadow games.
I would love to see Bram Stroker's Dracula but in the Castlevania-verse. With Quincy Morris, Jonathan Harker and Sawyer as playable characters.
>we get to fight Joan of ArcBased Frogs.>>736731856I would love that, too.
>>736731856Some variation of the books events did occur in Castlevania canon, they could even feature the Belmont that was alive during that period (Michael?) as a supporting side character.
>>736731921Yeah. Maybe add Renfield since he fight Dracula barehanded and almost win.
>>736732152They could have Renfield turn into some freaky bug demon for a bossfight.
>>736732285I kinda feel bad for him. Despite being crazy and having a weird connection to Drac, he was innocent and even tries to help Mina and Sawyer
>>736731856>>736732437>SawyerI might be wrong, but you mean Seward, right?
>>736732680Ah yes. Been a while since I've read the book.
I liked Castlevania when I was younger but honestly I don't know if I would have the patience to replay any of them currently.
>Belmont Curse gameplay trailer>Reveal nothing of the gameplaySasuga
>>736733542This is relatively easy, as in you're not likely to die at the same part over and over like you would in Castlevania 1. Aria has some hard parts, but it also has massively overpowered player attacks to make things swing back to pretty easy.
>>736707952So how shit will Belmont's Curse be?
>>736720459>Prince of Persia: The Lost CrownSome of the bonus levels were insanely hard, wow. Great game. Ubisoft are faggots for dissolving that studio.
>>736731782The first one was God of War style, right? I think I played some of it. Seemed okay.
>>736720685I want Belmont's Revenge Rebirth with music by Namiki
The devs behind Chronicles of the Wolf are doing a new Classicvania. https://x.com/Migami_Games/status/2042333015993454643
>>736724807They do though?
>>736707985ecclesia fucking sucks and every other igavania mogs it hard
>>736738438Hell yeah, liked Chronicles of the Wolf, but still haven't gotten around to playing their Castlevania fan games.
>>736724605OoE is the most challenging of the Metroidvania-style games.
>>736707952That not circle of the BASED
>>736713593miriam looks a little weird in this pic
>>736724605It's a lot harder than the previous ones. Half of that is because they were way too easy. OoE is just the first time you'll want to care which attack an enemy is weak to.
>>736738586The Lecarde Chronicles II was great.
>>736737884Yeah, they're cribbing from God of War super hard. The second one has a lot of the same influence, but you can use a sword or gauntlets at times so it doesn't look as much like God of War. It's still mostly about doing combos on enemies in an arena, though.
>>736739136I've heard as much, already have both entries downloaded.
>>736708137None of that is terribly remarkable aside from the insane tedium of making every weapon in DoS. Did you finish every mode in CotM? Iirc i stopped after the third playthrough and there were two more left.
>>736707952You mean OoE
>>736708137I leveled up to 255 in OoE, have you?
This thread has convinced me to play one of the Castlevania collections I bought for the Steam Deck and never launched.
>>736740147Based.
>CV3 gets to have its own trilogy
>>736708137OoE is the only one I didn't do this for. I wonder how it would feel doing this as an adult in the collections
>>736713593Forgot to mention it looks like complete ass next to PoR. Compare the opening areas of OoE to City of Mist or the castle in PoR and you'll see that OoE looks remarkably rushed with hallway maps galore. It didn't feel like a good castlevania until the last 4 hours of the game
>>736711458All the IGAvanias are easy babby-tier. Classicvanias YMMV. For example Rondo of Blood and SC4 are among the easier ones. But Dracula X (SNES "port" of Rondo) and CV3 are pretty difficult.
>>736740756Hallway maps work fine for a Castlevania game. Castlevania 1 had plenty of hallway maps and even Symphony would often have a long corridor with no variation in platforms. Eccelesia just makes it more noticeable because it has a map screen taking you to different areas that each have their own map, so people will just see that the map of the current area is a straight line. When it finally gets to Dracula's castle, the map is large enough that it fits right in with the others.
>>736720928People "hate" DoS because of:>Being Plebbitors>Not liking the artstyle (Only valid criticism)
>>736707952The Julius fight is cool
>>736731921>shitflix route of "Le christianity Bad!" Even tho it has been an Ally of the Belmonts for almost all of the seriesFucking retards
>>736730787>>736731312At this point they would to have soft reboot with something fresh. Nocturne has literally no hype around it ever since season 2 dropped last year outside of the usual shills. The animation studio recently laid off several artists because no projects are in the pipeline. They wrote themselves into a corner by taking Dracula out of his role of being the main villain, Richter felt like a side character in what's supposed to be his show.If Netflix gives them another chance then I personally believe they will pivot with a different Belmont in another part of the timeline and sweep Nocturne under the rug.
>>736743134Dracula's Castle can corrupt the souls of the dead, calm down.
>>736743121Totally not a self insert.
>>736732437The Universal Monsters: Dracula comic that came out from Skybound is pretty interesting in this regard since it focuses on Renfield and gets a lot of mileage out of the character. It’s taking place during the 1931 film as opposed to the book, but the spirit is still there I’d say.
>OoE autismo is back at it againThe title that no one cares for, that killed the series, that no one remembers fondly, yeah that one is the best, of course.
Aria of Sorrow >Lament of Innocence > SotN.
>OoE is hardI suck at games and literally the only hard boss of the entire game was the first one, or did everyone saying is hard stop there? I might suck at games but I never quit, it took me a while but after that was done it was all smooth sailing.
>>736738438Nice!
>>736743490I'm sure this board has a million explanations on why the Castlevania Netflix show didn't explode in popularity. I'll keep it simple. The first storyline was a loose adaptation of Castlevania 3, so people interested in seeing a show about Trevor fighting Dracula were interested. They quickly pivoted to much less popular "Castlevania lore" and the main plot was basically about their original characters do not steal. People who wanted to see an adaptation of a Castlevania game were put off whenever it just did its own thing.
>>736720792It is okay unc, go to sleep you nostalgai high retard.
Is there any modern aria romhack that brings quality of life stuff like several soul presets or it's impossible?
>>736745042ask ai to decomp the game if you want to add something more complex than a stat/pallet swaps
>>736743490All of the worst possible scenarios I can imagine if the "creative" team shits up other parts of CV canon wouldn't be imaginary anymore.
>>736745042i played a weird mixed up rom hack from aria of sorrow that has the headhunter as the second boss that i have to fight. and i was on level 5. really tough fight but fun. also after i left the boss room and went back. there where suddenly TEN of them.

>>736746284Glowing metal flail.

>>736748586They restored Simon to his true self so at least we have that.
Imagine Soma if he had a pre-Kojima artstyle.
>>736748580It's not even an argument. It feels like the peak of what SotN started. If it were one big interconnected castle with more areas like AoS then it would be the best CV of all time (I admit AoS had the best areas/atmosphere; PoR is simply a better game as a whole.)
>>736726948>no Sorrow game where Death is a good guy who serves SomaWe were robbed of kino.
do you bother grinding in your castlevania games?
>>736707952Why were the GBA and DS Castlevanias so damn good, bros?
>>736731921I know this in the same continuity as the original games, I just hope the frenchies in charge don't lean into any amount of CHURCH BAD shit.
>>736708137I don't play mediocre games more than once, so no, I haven't replayed any of the handheld games.

>>736749112>true self>Lords of Shadow battle crossRevisionist much?
>>736750515It depends. If there's NG+ where you can actually use your drops, and the game gives you tools that make grinding easier, then why not?Aria and Dawn basically expect you to get all the souls at some point. You get a reward for it, and you get to keep using your souls on future playthroughs.Meanwhile Circle absolutely does NOT expect you to get all the cards and there is NO reason for doing it. I seriously hope you guys don't do this.

>>736708137I watched speedruns of every single castlevania game in every category. Aria of Sorrow is a great game, in exploration, story progression, characters and music. It seems like you don't have any kind of opinion even after wasting time completing videogames which could have been a simple youtube click. Do you take pride in wasting your life away?
>>736755182Considering that simon seems to change hair colors every decade or so, yeah
>>736757465>watched speedrunssecondaries are unironically like this
>>736707952This is Dracula btw.
>>736752756Aria of Sorrow is relatively easy, I mean. Castlevania 3 is on the harder side of series entries.
>>736758462Ah, yeah I agree
>>736727286I can speak on this. Dead by Daylight is a okay game that requires considerably more time and monetary investment in it to be worth any semblance of time. Playing as any of the CV survivors (of which there are technically 4) hampers gameplay in a majority of maps, and those maps differ depending on which survivor you choose to play unless you're Alucard, in which you're just completely fucked due to his body shape. Soma is bugged in multiple ways, Richter is grotesque, and Trevor doesn't come with enough perks to make a functional build on his own. You'll only find value as a base game player by playing Dracula, but even then, you still need to have either invested time in grinding out free killers or purchase other franchised chapters to obtain perks that will actually benefit you, as all of Dracula's perks are ass on their own and only one of them is good on a map dependant basis with a licensed perk. I have 1.1k hours in the game and about 900 are on Soma only.
>>736714012>>736720848CotM and PoR are sorta similar for how they both encapsulate elements of classic and Metroid-style Castlevania, though CotM does it with its balance and enemy pathing/patterns, and PoR does it by having sections that are functionally linear, old-style Castlevania stages, maybe with a few branching paths. I didn't even give OoE a chance until a handful of years ago, but when I did, I really enjoyed it. I think playing it on a real controller helped compared to when I first tried it on a DS.

>>736763572That's the problem with prequels adding shit. Why didn't Leon pass this down to his children and so on to future Belmonts like Trevor and Simon.Should have just had the Gauntlet get destroyed in the battle with Death at the end.
https://youtu.be/oRHXEtfawVohttps://youtu.be/1xljXIgE3wAam i going crazy or is Picture of a Ghost Ship ripping off TOTO?
>>736709470>badmouthing SOTNFLAY HIM! FLAY HIS NUTS!
>>736761991That might be the hardest game on the DS. If you beat it, you shouldn't have much problem with OoE.
>>736764079It's easy to say "Simon Belmont should've used every whip attack Leon used" when you're overly literal about gameplay. Luckily, the games are often set so far apart you can guess things just got lost over the years. Like maybe Leon did pass every relic over to his child, but the gauntlet broke before another main character could use it.
>>736764079>>736763572It lost in history. Just that simple.
>>736764638Nah dude, like I said, it filtered the living fuck outta me. OoE kinda did too, back then it was the infamous crab boss that I blamed on how uncomfortable it was to constantly hold the R button on an original model DS. But when I emulated it down the line, I had a great time. Felt like discovering a classic years after the fact, excellent game.
>>736764381it's better
I beat the Dominus Collection recently and I have to say that PoR was my favorite, with Soma's > OoE. At least fighting the true final boss didn't require grinding or a guide lmaoJulius Mode is pretty awesome
>>736750515no lmaoI didn't even use Johnathan over Charlotte that much since her magic was so strong and I didn't give a fuck about leveling his subweapons.
>>736751832For me it's https://youtu.be/iUEC1Rcb1TA?list=RDiUEC1Rcb1TAUtterly bizarre how haunting and beautiful this song is for something that only appears in 1 brief section of the game and from a SNES game made 35 years ago
>>736765608SPIRIT OF LIGHT *clears an entire room from the entrance in 2-3 uses*
>>736765798for me it's Explosion and Chain Lightning wiping everything
>>736765608>don't get Vampire Killer because that's what Johnathan's dad would have wanted and because I didn't need it>only learn that you unlock Richter mode AFTER getting Vampire KillerFUCK YOU JOHNATHAN
>>736763264Most runs of normal mode are no death runs for me.I've probably done a no-death OoE run at some point, most of the Igavanias are not THAT challenging and only OoE actually checks you understand the attribute and damage systems, atop of having tougher boss patterns. With AoS the most you can really do is skip Headhunter and challenge Death early, which is maybe the toughest thing you can do in a casual run.If you have the giant ghost guardian soul, it's very useful for the first phase of the Death fight since the barrier protects you against the random sickle projectiles flawlessly.
>>736765458>PoR was my favoritebased>>736750515yeah, grindan souls or item drops is comfy as fuck
>>736708317>Symphony of night>aria of sorrow>down of sorrow>order of ecclesia'sYou just need to play these.
What do you think monster souls taste like?
>>736768389Shut up you stupid bitch
>>736768492You hate me because I told you the truth.
>>736768395stinky decomposed farts I'm guessing
>>736765373Alright, Ecclesia is hard enough that it might be too aggravating to finish, especially if you're already thinking some DS games are too hard. Good thing you came back to it later.
>>736769026Yeah. And I had no problem with the true ending requirements. I went around looking for townspeople just because I wanted an excuse to play the game more, and wound up unlocking the true ending organically without outside help. I don't know why people ITT were complaining about it.
>>736768191we don't thank enough savestates.
>Abaddon shits on me as Soma>fight him in PoR>rape him with TwisterHAHAHAHAHAHAFUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU YOU INSECT PIECE OF SHIT
very scarybe afraid
>>736772326I'll be honest, I really don't think the button combination replacement in Dominus Collection was any better all. Would much rather play Switch portable mode and keep the touch screen shit in tact. Even better to emulate and just mod all of it out entirely.
>>736772326What were they thinking?
>>736772326skill issue.png
>>736716747Dark Souls 1. I'm not joking.
>>736772597Granted that switching from normal gameplay to quickly fumbling with a stylus whilst holding the device you need to use it on does require a certain amount of skill, it's just not a skill I have any interest in learning.
>>736769773I think I didn't get the true ending the first time because half the villagers just asked you to do fetch quests and I wasn't interested. Actually finding them all was basically just looking around the maps decently well, and I intended to do that in a Casltevania game. I didn't find them all before the bad ending, though.
>>736707952Sorry, it's SotN.>But its too easy!Still SotN.>But you can break the game!Still SotN.>But the other games have deeper gameplay and superior maps!Still SotN.
>>736707952HoD > AoS > CotMPoR > OoE > DoS
>>736776060>HoDNo offense but I think you are gay.
CotM, PoR, Bloodlines, SotN, Rondo, IV, that's all you need
>>736707952I think igavanias suck. SoTN is an exception since it was Hagihara kino and normt iga slop.
Was there any reason not to get the double pack?
>>736778305Yes. One of the two games was absolute dogshit.
DoS is a perfect "Christmas game" despite not having any explicit Christmas theme in it.
>>736778305One of these games make you gay.
>>736759983No, I mean Dominus Collection, not DS games, because the Dominus Collections are improved versions that run 100x better and more responsive than the DS versions. The only dumb zoomer here is you, if you played the DS versions you would have known this.
>>736707952Not a high bar.
>>736768389Wrong. Symphony of the Night is overrated garbage.Portrait of Ruin is 10/10.
Castlevania 1 for me :) 3 is too hard & i dont like metroidvanias.
>>736776020>nostalgia high subhuman retard the post
I like Rondo and Symphony the most
>>736776060AoS = 7/10HoD = 1/10CotM = 1/10DoS = 10/10PoR = 10/10OoE = 10/10SotN = 3/10Fuck SotN nostalgia high retarded subhumans and fuck the Classicvania fans too.
>>736782041
SotN > AoS > DoS > PoR > OoE > CotM > HoDRoB > 4 > Bloodlines > 3 > 1 > 2
>>736782237>SotN >Eat shit nostalgia high retard.
>>736784552I played them all for the first time last year
>>736776020you only say that because it's the only castlevania you played
