Ape Escape 3 really surprised me when I played it. It's been a long time since I played anything that old, and aside from the unusual control scheme, I really had tons of fun. The control of the character is responsive, the levels are perfectly laid out and paced, the music is absolutely great. And it still looks good for a PS2 game. It's better than most trash that gets shit out nowadays. Pure Soul.

I'm not sure how it ran on a real PS2, but it lags quite a bit more often than Ape Escape 2 did on the PS3's emulator. But it has that PS2 Ghost Trail blur they always used to smooth out choppy frames. It's weird because it has no glitches and cutscenes are in perfect sync as well. Ape Escape 2 had a couple of desync problems whenever cutscenes or FMVs fell behind due to slowdown, but the gameplay was almost non-stop 60fps instead.I definitely feel like Ape Escape 1 and 3 are the highlights. Also the mom, Aki, is a nice character. I also want to fuck her desu.

>>736730495Yes, the CEHC something yeah the slim. It uses what is called PS2 "Netemu", which is used in the games you get on PSN like Sonic Heroes or GTA Vice City. Like much homebrew, developers found a way to create a stubbed version of this emulator and inject roms into it, and then you can use the Netemu's config-system to make customized configs per game. So there's a PS2 Config database on PS3, and as long as your rom has the serial-key in the filename it finds the correct config and optimizes the game.It's a good emulator because there's 0 audio-stuttering, and no lag between visual and audio that I can see, and there's also no input lag on the controller. Games that work well with this emulator play like a dream. PCSX2 is great of course, but I've had really good results so far, and desu, I really just like having my game library ready on a home console so I never have to procrastinate. I like to decide now is game time, and relocate, turn on the TV and start playing stuff.
Surely this game shouldn't pose any issues with HDD loading on OPL, right?
