Every class has powerful builds. Its really a question of what 3 elements, and what chances you have of them coming together are. There are however, certain builds ive tried that seem to be presented as "core" to a class but underperform. Electric tinker, fire mage, knockback tank, 0 int fighter, water/flower druid, downed necro, backstab thief, vomit butcher, trap hunter, knockback psychic, holy warrior cleric. They all require too many pieces, such as rare items or cross class abilities/passives that rarely come up to be useful. Its why jester is not broken. He has too many moving parts to have any consistant build, to the point its a win to have an ability that synergizes with his passive at all.But useless classes? Na, the right items and right synergies in a team can create wacky combos if you experiment enough.

A turn-based tactics game has a skill ceiling: at a certain point, no matter how well you play, you will lose if your numbers aren't big enough.
