The last game was already a major downgrade and ruined free-roaming due to the "dynamic instances", and I assume they haven't reverted that change for this game, so I just can't be excited. The whole map should be a singular free-roam server like games 1-4 were. It was in to boot up the game, take a peak at the map to see what people were doing in freeroam, and then fast travelling to whoever was doing a drive that looked fun and joining them. That's been impossible since the latest entry and maps feel empty as a result. You see like 4 people around you and then drive for a mile and they all disappear. Cycle repeats. Tbh, I've just become principled. If your game doesn't support Linux & Windows, I don't want to give you any money regardless of if I like the game or not.
