RELOAD RELOAD

What's the best direction to reload when you're shooting offscreen?

Down so I can pretend I'm reloading like in Goldeneye

Shit is so kino

I typically move left, but I think optimally, you should be the shortest distance from the cursor.
HotD2 is more about shot placement than fire rate though, so in thia particular case it doesn't matter.

Wow, I really mangled that first sentence.
Optimally speaking, you would go towards the edge the cursor is already closest to.

>>736766059
put your finger over the muzzle and shoot straight
>>

that's brilliant

It's best to just tilt the gun the direction you've already got it tilted so you can quickly snap back, but in a pinch pointing down to guarantee you're offscreen will generally work.

Also semi-related I wanted to complain about this fucking thing. I tried it at a bowling alley out of curiosity for the giant screen and on top of a lot of the design of the game feeling like mid-2010s Console AAA design translated to an arcade game in a bad way, the reloading reinvented the wheel in the dumbest way possible. You have to physically cock the gun like you would a real glock, which is awkward in the thick of an enemy encounter and makes your arms/wrists tired pretty quickly unless you hip-fire most of the time (which is insane given that the game is REALLY long). What's worse is that they didn't balance it at all: you can just hold the trigger down to fire at a steady pace and cock the gun when you're at 1-2 bullets remaining to reload with ZERO DOWNTIME which turns the game from being a bit frustrating due to how massive the play area is to being stupidly easy 80% of the time because you can just spray in a game not built for it.

What the fuck anon I just shot my finger off, why you would suggest this?
>>
>>736766059
I always found a quick verticle snap to be the quickest movement I can make with a lightgun - all in the wrist - so that's what I've always done.

In addition: this game sucks total ass. Tomb Raider Arcade is a poorly-designed game but competently made, this thing is just dogshit.

I'm a horizontal enjoyer even though it's objectively unoptimal. Inner wrist motion depending on which way you're facing.

Time Crisis is still the best

That...isn't common knowledge?
The fuck?
We all did that, me and my friends.

I really need to play TC5 at some point, I've heard it's great. That said in terms of co-op specifically my GOAT is Deadstorm Pirates & Goldstorm Pirates (played the latter in Japan last year), though you can definitely tell they were not balanced for solo play.

>>736766059
i used to point to the side but i accidentally hit someone in the face so now i point downward
>>
>>736766059
Up.

Manually pumping the shotgun to reload in HOTD3 is some of the rawest shit to ever be put in an arcade.
>>
>>736767148
This was the real pro shit. I rarely used it tho cause I was always playing alone so would dual wield the guns instead
>>
>>736766059
>his gun doesn't reload automatically
lol
lmao even
