so i was messing around in the skin editor for way longer than i want to admit and ended up making thisit started as “i’ll just throw together something simple” and somehow turned into a full-on orange hoodie tiger theme with the little face on the hood and everything. i don’t even usually care that much about skins but once you get into lining up the pixels it kind of takes over your brainthe eyes came out way better than expected though, that slightly tired look wasn’t even intentional at first. now it looks like the character has seen some stuff. also tried to keep the colors kinda soft so it doesn’t look like a highlighter explodednot sure if i should tweak it more or just leave it before i ruin it by overworking it. every time i think “just one more adjustment” it turns into another 30 minutes of moving pixels around

You also have the tendency of people to like playing with a skin of a character or figure they like in games, sort of like the waves of Gmod player models where you get a bunch made of different people. I'll say that Steve and Steve variations do have a soul to them. Mostly because Notch or whoever made the skin actually understand that pixel art principles still apply to these characters. OPs skin is decent compared to many out there, but still suffers from being a bit too noisy in some areas while lacking it in others. The skin having a slight color variation in some places would do a lot to help. The Alex skin shows that you can still have a pale character with some variation to keep from looking flat.
