>>736774536To be fair the game's been going on for 5 years, I can't blame the devs for getting bored of the original aesthetic and just using the game as a playground for random design ideas.As for gameplay, it became clear that the DPS output is the only thing playerbase cares about, so there's really no point in putting the effort into designing areas or challenges anymore.It's still quite impressive they've managed to keep putting out so much quality content for so long before they've ultimately given up, most devs can't even release a game with that level of quality, let alone keep it going for years.
