I actually use the Logitech MX Vertical, and it's really good, "ole reliable" if you will.

I also have their "Wave Keys" keyboard, but does anyone know a keyboard that's wired and more ergonomic? I'm looking for suggestions.

Look up the dactyl keyboard form factor
That's about as good as it gets
>>

It really is that simple. I'm not trying to sound like an advertisement but this mouse removed my wrist pain.

don't get a gaming mouse then? what's the problem? for any game that requires more than a cheap office mouse, wireless is better and has been for over half a decade

it seems im a natural born gamer because i don't think i ever experienced wrist pain from playing vidya

How do vertical mice fare with PC gaming? I play a bunch of RTS but I'm already much too comfortable & familiar with normal mice.
>>
>>736781643
it takes some time to get used to but nothing crazy. You're just playing games after all and it's definitely worth the reduction of pain.
>>

this shit is anything but. starts doubleclicking after a year

been using this for a few days now. the weight is a bit unwieldy at first, but the ergonomics, feel of the switches and the mousewheel are god tier. only thing I don't like is how much pressure is required to press the mouse wheel button.

Is it still only Asus who makes mice with hotswap switches?

>want a 100% keyboard but also want maximum mousepad space to the right of the keyboard
are there any real keyboards with this layout?
>>
>>736782668
Have you considered picking your keyboard up and moving it to the left? You can get left handed keyboards with the numpad on the left, but I've never seen one with the arrow keys over there too.

have you considered that I don't want to press the wasd keys from a fucking 45 degree angle?
>>
>>736782668
You can get (barely) get southpaw layouts with a left-side numpad, but if you want the arrow keys and nav cluster over there too, nothing comes to mind.

just buy a separate numpad if you need it that badly

That's not how it works
A vertical mouse doesn't unnaturally twist your forearm

get a mousepad with wrist support. When I switched I noticed the wrist is where the stress shifted to. The pad keeps your wrist in line. Shit's comfy.
>>
>>736783207
but you're not really gripping your mouse are you?
it's a very light hold

logitech g600 and get the OLD software for it, not the new unified logitech g suite
the 600 is still manufactured for the JP market under a slightly different name

best 12-button MMO type mouse I have ever used, and the extra button that acts as a shift type modifier gives you absurd control over shortcuts.
>>

The dark mount lets you swap the numpad on either side but it isn't cheap.
>>
>>736782030
Is the 2nd scroll wheel useful in games? I like my 502 but my claw grip means the further extra buttons aren't really meaningful
>>
>>736780591
>use an awful claw grip I learned young on all mice
>usually a shit mouse. I have some piece of ROG trash right now but usually its even worse like something you buy from a supermarket.
>On the computer way too much
>Still absolutely 0 pain and never felt so much as a twinge.
>probably older than most of you, and elsewhere I'm a cripple.

This isn't a weird brag or anything I'm just surprised somehow it never came up. I feel like those people who smoke a pack every day until they're 80 and die of something completely unrelated to their lungs giving out.
>>
>>736782030
i'd get it if it wasn't for the disgusting rubber finish.
>>
I usually palm grip but lately I've developed this spot in the middle of my palm where the skin is all raw so I'm trying to leave a gap between my palm and the mouse but my mouse isn't really designed for claw gripping
>>
>>736782852
How much of a tiny little faggot are you? I have a 2 foot mousepad next to my full sized keyboard and my arms still sit straight on both wasd and the mouse.
>>
>>736780394
Other than Logitech using garbage quality switches, I love that damn thing. Pity it was discontinued.

>Doubleclicking
Unplug mouse
Open mouse
Release a drop of alcohol on the switch
Click it a few times to let the alcohol in
Wait 10 minutes
Replug the mouse in
Done
>>
>>736783643
this is fake the mouse is not actually playing it's just nibbling none of the in game actions correspond with anything the mouse is doing for example the character moves on the screen while the mouse is standing still its just a gimmick video made to trick really gullible boomers
>>
>>736785907
You can tell because of the seam on the left side of the screen and the UI being cut off there.

I just wish someone made a mouse with side buttons that have a real tension mechanism like a spring instead of relying on bending plastic

Office mice are made for 60hz screens and even then, they pale in comparison to a gaming mouse.

Or just move your entire forearm instead of your wrist. I've been playing since 2001 and don't feel any pain in my wrist. I also don't flick my wrist around when using my mouse though, just move the arm as a whole.

Vertical mice are completely fine for PC gaming, I have zero problem in aiming with all the FPS games I normally play after the learning curve of adjusting to a vertical.

Also the best vertical overall is the Keychron M5. My only wish for it is that it had a charging dock.
