HLX is real. But that doesn't mean it will ever be released. I still have hopium that it is something they will announce and release. The buzz in late 2025 felt similar to the buzz around the time of the Alyx announcement. I believe they intended to announce something, but memory prices due to AI postponed all of their plans. They stalled all of their hardware releases and postponed the new Raising The Bar book with no new news on it. Now with Valve simply being Valve, whatever they were working on could be postponed indefinitely or cancelled at any moment. Left 4 Dead by was real at two different times, and we still don't have it. Anything is possible.
