I just finished the game and it fucking sucks.The grace segments where ok, with the first segment being the peak of the game. The issue is that her segments are what I would call resident evil lite, it has the resident evil stuff but dumbed.The leon segments are terrible, they are way too long and boring, theres way too much walking and not enough actions, the enemies suck, it looks boring and leon controls are super clunky. I hate the reliance on the hatchet to finish off enemies, the kicks are way more fun and flashy.this is like a 4-5/10

OG 4 was my first (completed) RE game and is still top 3 for me in the franchise. I think the combat is way better than the Leon sections in Requiem even though it still has the slow-feeling clunky movement. I like how they did the merchant and weapon customization system. It's much better than Requiem where the bonus weapons are just objectively superior and there's no reason to use the base game weapons anymore. Ashley is a cute, and Ada is the sexiest she's ever been imo. Salazar is a massive downgrade to the original. Overall, if you don't like the action-heavy REs, I wouldn't fuck with 4 OG or 4 remake. Just watch the story on Youtube if you care about the lore.
