Command is a good game. Its a fun small scale handheld title best played in short bursts which is common for handheld games at the time.

I might be wrong, but I remember reading somewhere that they wanted more varied types of gameplay and the idea was shot down.We could have had more rail shooting segments, which sucks. And the game was clearly capable of doing it well with some of the Anglar boss phases basically being on rails.

>>736824592This. Every level feels the exact fucking same. There's no option to turn off Expert Mode either so you need to put up with artificial difficulty if you want the other endings. Each mission feels like it's designed to waste your time. "Kill x amount of enemies before the time runs out" every single fucking time. The only variety the game has to offer are the different ships you get to pilot, which is the only thing the game does right in my opinion.
