I’ve been on a huge Pokemon kick lately in a way I haven’t been since middle school. Played LeafGreen and completed the Kanto Pokedex with friends and now I’ve beat Shining Pearl and I’m close to finishing that Pokédex as well. I’m playing Violet on the side and I hope Game Freak improves the next game substantially cause I’m not into the direction they’re taking the series, the open world was a cool idea executed like shit
Been cycling between Leafgreen, Soul Reaver, and MH Stories 3 mostly, with some Groove Coaster thrown in here and there. My total collection of Switch 2 stuff is 44 games including free upgrades and stuff. As for third party ports, my list was basically just Time Stranger and Homura Hime which are both already getting Switch 2 releases. Level 5, Capcom, and Falcom are all supporting Switch 2 with same day releases so I'm pretty content. Maybe Mightreya, but that's an indie project that isn't even out yet. Sure games like Armored Core VI or Red Dead 2 would be nice, but I've already played those on other systems.

I think if you have two Switches you can trade between two versions on different save files. Haven't tested it myself because I have no plans to buy Fire Red.

The only two actual Switch 2 games I own are MKW and Bananza but I tend to buy all my third parties on PC. I actually like the Switch 2 as a system and think both MKW and Bananza are overhated even if neither is a 10/10 for me. When compared to Odyssey and BOTW early Switch combo I'd say the quality evens out. Odyssey for me is better than Bananza but the average quality between both MKW and Bananza makes up for BOTW which I didn't enjoy so much
