I started a few weeks ago and I'm still hot trash with not knowing how half the heroes work or when I should buy certain items (not that I even know all the items yet). The map is very complicated to navigate well, but I'm slowly making headway with it and feeling like I'm getting better. Watch a few tutorials and then just jump in. There's no reason to cram a bunch of theory before jumping into the game and getting information overload. Just pick a few characters to learn, play the game and have fun
