>>736852215Kazuma did, Terumi convinced him to betray Trinity because Jubei's brother Tonomari attacked Kazuma because he sensed Terumi's evil inside of him, Terumi took over and killed Tonomari in combat with Nine, Trinity and Celica arriving after the fight was over, Nine put the mind eater curse on Terumi for this and Terumi convinced Kazuma that to be free he could get Trinity to undo the curse so he let Kazuma take over and plead with Trinity to take the curse off, Trinity's affection for Kazuma won out and she lefted it, Terumi immediately seizes the moment, stabs Trinity and mortally wounds Nine enough to not only put the mind eater curse back on Nine but turn her into the phantom so she can't even talk anymore, he throws Trinity's body into the boundary and in Continuum Shift we see how he attacks Hakumen and Jubei later at the gate, neither one of them can beat Terumi as he is now so at Hakumen's urging Jubei uses his brother's eye to swap places with Terumi and let Hakumen drag Terumi into the boundary with him and Jubei survives. Kazuma seemingly perishes in the boundary, we never see him again the story, Terumi, Hakumen, Nine and Trinity manage to survive. Trinity finally passes on after redeeming herself for her failure that day at the end of central fiction after Hakumen spares her the cruelty of having to throw her comrade's corpse into the boundary once more, flings himself down into the abyss with the last of his will sparing Trinity further guilt, with that the only members of the six heroes left are Jubei and Valkenhyne, some people may not know this but Ragna did not take Valkenhyne's dream nor was he erased from Valkenhyne's mind because Valkenhyne exists outside of the world so the only person who remembers Ragna is him and Amane who as is an observer with no personal attachment to the world like Rachel who came to adore it, which is why she was losing power and dying in chronophantasma and central fiction
