Mysterious Path 3, Haunted House Vanity Room, Entrance to the Spooky World, Encounter with the Buddha, etc. All of these maps were flat, easy to navigate, had high spawn rate, mostly easy to survive, and had inflated exp rates. As a result, most of the playerbase competed heavily for these maps, which rendered a large portion of the world obsolete.In my opinion, maps like Ludibrium: Forgotten Path of Time <1> and Warped Path of Time <1> should give more rewarding exp than Mysterious Path 3. Soul Teddies and Buffies are more dangerous enemies than Slimys and Selkie Jr, have greater range with their magic attack, and more importantly, their maps are much more challenging to navigate.I think that should be the general philosophy behind the allocation of exp rewards. Challenging maps like the Ludibrium Clock Tower, Drake's Meal Table, The Cave of Trial III should yield the best rewards, while flatter, easier maps should be less rewarding.Of course, if Crimsonwood Keep is in Classic, that should retain it's inflated exp. The Path of Peril was the hardest map in the game to grind on, and should also be the most rewarding.

With the re introduction of knockback it'd be cool to not fly off a platform in crimsonwood again. But as monster's more common attack being just to bump into you to do damage there's not much interaction. You should avoid some attacks by ducking or jumping at least. Or a monster uses a counter and you have to wait a bit to attack them and deal more damage that way or something. Stuff like that will bring more flavor to the game, as will the difficulty not being autopilotty as numaple.

I will say for numaple, having a grappling hook to travel between platforms is fun. That coupled with flash jump made the movement fun, shame they couldn't implement better platform design along with it. I imagine with classic they'll use portals again to get back up on the map or air vents.

Daily Zakum is enough to get to 170 and max every relevant 4th job skill. 170-200 can be done from just Zakum/Horntail, Bigfoots and Granpa with some Temple of Time grinding.Compare this to pre-Mushroom Shrine/Leafre which only had El Nath and Aqua for endgame it's the same as training in Drakes Meat Table versus Ghost Ship/Chimney. Completely different map layouts and grinding philosophy.
