Why do you prefer anime games over games with a realistic artstyle

Games aiming for realism become outdated faster while games using an anime artstyle remain "stylized". This is even more apparent as I play through the PS2 library.
I don't judge games based on art-style alone, but I've only played 3 games with an anime art-style, so it's possible I have bias.The games in question are the 3 yu-gi-oh Power of Chaos games.

Because realistic artstyles sucka and age badly. And yes, games can age.A game like Street Fighter 6 will age worse than a game like Street Fighter Alpha or SF3

Even a 25 year old game that tries to look realistic remains stylized as a result of technical limitations, and I find that to be preferable. I remember people gawking at that bodycame game some years ago but I just never found it appealing in any way.
